Goodfriend Atrium Challenge
Dear BMFI Members and Patrons,
On behalf of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute Board of Directors, I am very excited to tell you about a new $250,000 challenge grant. An anonymous donor has pledged to match the next $250,000 in contributions to the ongoing campaign that will finance the theater renovations and provide for the long-term financial health of BMFI.
As a condition of the gift, the donor has stipulated that the theater atrium, with its beautifully restored skylight and plasterwork, be named in honor of BMFI founder Juliet Goodfriend.
The BMFI Board of Directors is delighted to accept this gift and challenge! We think you will agree that memorializing Juliet's crucial role in saving the theater and transforming it into a nationally recognized film exhibition and education center is an outstanding idea.
We invite the community to join us in showing our gratitude for Juliet's hard work and dedication. Your gift will help provide our community with the beautifully restored, programmatically rich, and fiscally healthy film center that Juliet envisioned.
Contributions can be made in several ways:
- Make your gift online
- Mail contributions to: BMFI, PO Box 1058, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Please write GOODFRIEND ATRIUM CHALLENGE on the memo line.
- Download a Pledge Form [169K PDF]
Other naming opportunities [149K PDF] are available. For further information, please contact Patricia Wesley, Dir. of Development, at 610-527-4008 x 103.
Thank you in advance for participating in this wonderful tribute to a remarkable woman.
Sincerely,
Samuel R. Scott, Chairman
Bryn Mawr Film Institute Board of Directors
