Starring Alain Lalanne, Patrick Floersheim

When a psychopath in Santa duds invades his home on Christmas Eve, it’s up to mulleted whiz-kid Thomas to protect his beloved grandfather, using only his arsenal of toys and knowledge of Rambo movies. Known variously as Deadly Games, Game Over, and Hide and Freak, this absolutely bonkers Christmas cult classic counts George Lucas and Steven Spielberg among its avowed fans, and is suspected by many to be the inspiration for Home Alone (1990).

Co-presented by the team from dearly missed local treasure Viva Video, this screening will be preceded by a brief history of twisted holiday movies, courtesy of Viva maestro Miguel Gomez. Hang around after the movie for a post-film conversation!
