Following a devastating breakup, Joel (Jim Carrey) undergoes a procedure to erase his recollections of his ex (Kate Winslet) from his mind. But as those memories disappear, he begins to fall in love with her all over again. Penned by Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation), this loopy romance was named the best film of the 2000s by The A.V. Club.
