After inheriting the house of her grandparents, actors Emma Cohen and Fernando Fernán Gómez, a woman relies on the help of their spirits to face her memories and responsibilities. Presence, absence, documentary, and fiction intertwine in this evocative cinema collage.

This screening will be introduced by Prof. Lina Martínez Hernández and will be followed by a conversation with director Helena de Llanos, moderated by Prof. Martín Gaspar.

Presented by Haverford College’s John B. Hurford ’60 Center for the Arts and Humanities as part of the Strange Truth 2023 series, this screening is free for Tri-Co students, faculty, and staff.
