Years after a spacecraft full of starving, desperate alien refugees makes first contact with Earth, the so-called “prawns” are confined to a squalid shantytown outside of Johannesburg. While overseeing a camp relocation project, a dorky bureaucrat (Sharlto Copley) is exposed to alien DNA and begins to undergo startling changes.
