Suffering from the neuromuscular disorder Friedreich's Ataxia, Kyle Bryant loses his ability to walk, but not his hope. Instead, Bryant and three friends undertake a grueling coast-to-coast bike race to raise awareness and spread inspiration. Join us after this documentary for a panel discussion featuring Kyle Bryant, Jen Farmer and Felicia DeRosa of the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance, and Angela Cressor of Roberts Elementary, where Bryant's story has been used to teach students about activism and determination.
Kyle Bryant will also be signing copies of his new book, Shifting Into High Gear: One Man's Grave Diagnosis and the Epic Bike Ride That Taught Him What Matters, available for purchase at the event.
