Bryn Mawr Film Institute (BMFI) is a nonprofit, member-supported motion picture theater and film education center located in Bryn Mawr, PA. BMFI seeks an experienced, part-time Finance Assistant to handle all facets of accounts payable. The ideal candidate will be very well versed in all aspects of nonprofit accounting, work with a high level of efficiency and accuracy, and excel at collaborating with a range of colleagues. The Finance Assistant reports to the Director of Finance and also provides support in many areas of accounting.
BMFI is a casual, friendly environment, and the finance staff works in close quarters with other co-workers, in what is at times a busy atmosphere. All work is to be done in-office, and the position requires at least 15 hours per week (or more as needed during heavy times) over two days, at an hourly rate, based on experience.
