Job Description

Bryn Mawr Film Institute seeks a full-time theater manager to lead and support daily operations in its historic four-screen cinema. The ideal theater manager is a friendly, outgoing, customer service-oriented individual who can manage a team of creative and dedicated staff, ensure films are presented at the highest quality, and work to give our movie-loving community the best theater experience possible. Ideal applicants will exhibit good verbal communication and cash-handling skills.   

This position is full-time. Availability to work evenings and weekends is a must. Morning and afternoon availability is a plus.

Mission Statement

Bryn Mawr Film Institute (BMFI) is a nonprofit, member-supported motion picture theater and film education center located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. BMFI is dedicated to promoting shared experiences that entertain, engage, and educate audiences through a diverse range of independent-minded films, a full curriculum of courses, and an extensive program of special events. BMFI builds community through film culture while maintaining strong connections to its historic venue’s cinematic past.
