Starring Jack Nance, Charlotte Stewart
“In heaven, everything is fine…” Set in a surreal industrial wasteland, this disquieting vision of a man, his malformed baby, and a lady in the radiator introduced the world to a totally singular auteur. David Lynch called it “my Philadelphia Story.”
The feature will be preceded Lynch’s short film “The Alphabet.” After the screening, Julien Suaudeau, Director of Film Studies at Bryn Mawr College, will discuss the new season of the Song of Philadelphia podcast, focused on Lynch’s time in our city.
