Starring Orson Welles, Robert Arden, Paola Mori

A sinister, amnesiac tycoon (Orson Welles) dispatches a fly-by-night fortune hunter on a journey through the underbelly of Europe to uncover the secrets of his own past. Riffing on the structure of Citizen Kane and drawing inspiration from Welles’ character in The Third Man, this dizzying, stylish, gloriously strange mystery screens here in the version known as Confidential Report.

This screening is presented in conjunction with the course Orson Welles: Hollywood Enigma, taught by Jennifer Fleeger, Ph.D. Seating for screening-only attendees will begin at 7:00 pm. Just want to see the film? Purchase your tickets from this page.
