As if tax problems, family strife, and last-minute preparations for a Chinese New Year party weren’t enough, a laundromat operator (martial-arts film legend Michelle Yeoh) is dispatched on an adventure that sends her skipping through parallel universes and alternate versions of her life to face an interdimensional menace that only she can stop. Outrageous, laugh-out-loud funny, and dazzlingly inventive, Everything Everywhere All at Once doubles as a madcap sci-fi romp and a big-hearted exploration of familial love and the roads not taken.
