On an idyllic French estate in the 19th century, a cook (Juliette Binoche) and her gourmand employer (Benoît Magimel) must confront the romantic feelings that have arisen over their twenty-year partnership. Filled with mouthwatering cooking scenes that should earn its place in the culinary film canon, The Taste of Things was hailed by Time Out as “a gastronomic feast so rich and romantic, it’ll leave you woozy.”
