Bryn Mawr: A Centennial Soiree

On October 1, 1926, the Seville Theatre lit up Lancaster Avenue for the first time. This October, Bryn Mawr Film Institute marks that milestone with a centennial cocktail soiree—an evening of film, community, and a century of stories worth telling. We invite you to be part of it.

Please contact Alexander Gosciniak, BMFI Marketing Manager, to discuss how your brand can reach its best audience, and commemorate a century worth celebrating.

A ONCE-IN-A-CENTURY OCCASION Bryn Mawr Film Institute’s Centennial Soiree is a landmark celebration honoring 100 years of cinematic history and community impact, bringing together 300 of the region’s most engaged patrons, donors, and cultural leaders for an evening of film, storytelling, and elevated hospitality.

CINEMATIC STEWARDSHIP Designed as both a tribute and a forward-looking moment, the Soiree features curated entertainment, behind-the-screens access, and cinematic experiences within BMFI’s iconic theater. Proceeds will benefit continuing preservation and improvement of the 100-year-old landmark.

ALL EYES ON YOU Multi-platform sponsorship packages—on the big screen, in print, online, in their inbox, and in the room—maximize your visibility wherever your audience happens to be. From the historic marquee on Lancaster Avenue to the step-and-repeat in every guest photo, from BMFI’s 30,000-subscriber email list to the commemorative book preserved in perpetuity, your brand is woven into every dimension of this evening and the campaign surrounding it. The following details BMFI’s comprehensive sponsorship packages.

Sponsorship Tiers

Exclusive Sponsors

Premium naming rights and activation opportunities across BMFI’s iconic spaces for the evening.

Presenting Sponsor
$30,000

Headline the centennial. The Presenting Sponsor’s name is woven into every dimension of this evening — from the historic marquee on Lancaster Avenue to the step-and-repeat in every guest photo shared from the event. No other sponsorship commands this breadth of visibility across the event and the seven-month campaign surrounding it.

Theater 1
$20,000

Theater 2
$20,000

Theater 1 is where the centennial comes to life. At over 2,500 square feet, it is BMFI’s oldest, largest, and most storied space. Hollywood’s Golden Age sets the stage for your brand’s closeup with scene-stealing spotlights on original architectural gems.

Theater 2 is BMFI’s second-largest theater, carved from the original auditorium in the 1970s. Welcome guests to an intimate space built for cinema, starring your brand with a mid-century flare.

Theater 3
$20,000

Theater 4
$20,000

Theater 3 is part of BMFI’s newer stadium-style wing —smaller in footprint, sharper in feel. Meet the moment with a trendy throwback experience that gives a nod to moviegoing  in the 1980s, ‘90s, and Y2K.

Complete the soiree’s cinematic journey by sponsoring Theater 4. This auditorium will tell the story of BMFI’s stewardship, from Juliet Goodfriend’s rallying cry in the early 2000s through the glasses we’ll raise on October 1.

Concessions
$15,000

The Concessions Stand sits at the intersection of the atrium and all four theaters. Every guest will pass through this central historic-candy-counter-turned-bar multiple times during the evening. Take the spotlight and shine as the familiar face for guests at a fun oasis throughout the evening. Themed fare and branded serveware are available with the concessions sponsorship.
